The Bauerfeind LumboTrain back brace relieves the lumbar spine and has been proven to contribute to increased activity of the stabilizing core muscles. It helps to relieve non-specific lumbar back pain by supporting the independent sitting up into an improved posture and by massaging the tissue during movement to promote blood circulation. It acts specifically on trigger points to relieve hardening and myofascial tension and to increase overall movement behavior through accelerated pain reduction.
The bandage tightly encloses the lumbar area and, thanks to the slight abdominal compression, helps to achieve an improved upright posture, thereby relieving the lumbar vertebrae. The anatomically shaped high-low knit has a highly structured surface. This ensures a secure fit and gently presses the lumbar pad with its high nubs against the lower back. When you move, the compression fabric and pad massage the soft tissue. This improves blood circulation and stimulates local metabolism.
The lumbar pad is a viscoelastic pad and consists of three components of different strengths. The high nubs have a relieving effect on pain points through counter pressure. This pressure changes with movement. The soft, flexible nubs on the outer edge of the pad then exert selective friction. The firmer knobs parallel to the lumbar spine are spring-loaded. They are connected to each other and form six units that stretch the tissue slightly when the muscles tense and relax. For optimal support to suit your body shape, the standard sizes of the bandage are offered in two different versions: The Straight version has a straight cut, the Waisted version is slightly tailored and has a higher leg cutout. For comfortable wearing, the belly closure has feathered edges that adapt to the middle of the body. The knit is made of breathable microfiber. Comfort zones are integrated all around, which are even more breathable thanks to larger meshes. This ensures good heat and moisture exchange and prevents stagnant sweat on the skin. The special stretchability of the material and practical hand loops on the belly closure ensure easy, effortless putting on.
