Knee orthosis JuzoPro Patella Xtec Plus - orthosis for influencing the patella glide pathThe JuzoPro Patella Xtec Plus is used for the therapy-appropriate treatment of patellofemoral pain syndrome. A pad is integrated into the orthosis, which stimulates the muscles lying on the inside of the thigh (vastus medialis muscle) with its knobs. The horseshoe-shaped pad is designed so that the patella can be centered using the locking mechanism. A second pad serves to relieve the patellar tendon and relieves the pain with its knobs.In the acute phase, the patient is recommended to wear the JuzoPro Patella Xtec Plus because the compression knitted fabric of compression class 2 counteracts the swelling. In consultation with the doctor, the orthosis can be dismantled as therapy progresses. To do this, the JuzoPro Patella Xtec Plus must be turned to the left.
