medi Soft OA - for relief according to the 3-point relief principle
The medi Soft OA knee soft orthosis can be used via a ratchet system for individually adjustable varus and valgus relief. It works with a patented mechanism for dynamic belt tightening based on the 3-point relief principle. This relieves the knee joint exactly when it is subjected to maximum stress during movement and protects the knee from breaking out to the side. The combination of wrap construction on the thigh and slip construction on the calf makes handling medi Soft OA even easier.
The knee soft orthosis is used for all indications that require relief of a compartment according to the 3-point relief principle, additional physiological guidance and, if necessary, a restriction of movement of the knee joint. This is necessary, for example, in the case of unilateral arthrosis in the knee joint (unilateral knee joint arthrosis) or after cartilage surgery, cartilage reconstruction and meniscus interventions.
With the help of the slip-on wrap construction of the knee soft orthosis, it is just as effortless to put on as it is to first align and fix it on the leg. A recess on the patella serves as an aid to correct positioning. The user can independently, easily and quickly - depending on the need and pain situation - reduce or increase the relief provided by the rest system. Thanks to the 3-point relief principle, the medi Soft OA knee orthosis not only reduces pressure and pain on the affected side of the joint: it also enables more mobility and activity in everyday life. If necessary, the stretching (extension) or bending (flexion) of the leg can be adjusted using an extensive set of wedges.
The compressive spacer fabric medi Airtex+ can improve proprioception. This can support the body's own guidance and stabilization of the knee joint. The comfort zone in the hollow of the knee is breathable thanks to the integrated, soft material - an additional wearing comfort. The intelligent belt guide also does not run directly in the hollow of the knee. The knee orthosis also impresses with its slim design.
If you are looking for a lighter soft orthosis, the Soft OA light can be the right choice. The M.4s OA comfort offers even more relief, which is equipped with a hard frame and convinces with a 3-point relief principle and a 4-point stabilization principle.
product benefits
- Relief of the lateral or medial compartment through the 3-point relief principle.
- Individually adjustable varus / valgus relief via a multi-stage notch system.
- Ease of Use: The combined slip-wrap construction allows for easy donning while allowing for quick initial alignment and fixation on the leg.
- Individual adjustment: The split roll closure on the thigh makes it easier to close and allows adjustment to different thigh shapes.
- Correct positioning: A recess in the area of the patella serves as a positioning aid for a correct fit of the orthosis.
- Simple and individual relief: the patient can easily adjust the desired relief himself using the multi-stage notch system. A scale provides orientation here.
- Comfort zone at the back of the knees: The well thought-out design guides the straps outside of the sensitive area at the back of the knees and can thus avoid uncomfortable pressure. The integrated, soft material also ensures a comfortable fit in the comfort zone with its breathability.
- Joints on both sides and the silicone dot coating support a secure fit on the leg
- Quick and easy handling: quick-release fasteners enable quick and easy putting on and taking off
Limitation options:
