Dry skin jeopardizes the success of the therapy
Vein problems often lead to an increased need for moisture in the skin. The skin also suffers from dryness due to the medically required tight fit of the compression stockings.
Unfortunately, more than two thirds of patients do not wear their compression stockings regularly. This was the result of a survey by vein specialist Prof. Dr. Markus Stücker among patients at the vein center of the Ruhr University Bochum. The reasons given by the respondents were dry skin and itching. Only wearing it every day supports the veins permanently and reduces the risk of further consequences, such as thrombosis.

Memory Aloe Vera combines elegance with care. A combination of aloe vera extracts and vitamin E is integrated into the yarn and constantly supplies the skin with natural moisture when worn. The care substances are released in a controlled manner - even after more than 100 washes.
Proper use of compression stockings
- The product is suitable for immediate use. Our recommendation: Wash before wearing. Then wash daily by hand or inside out on the gentle cycle of your machine.
- Wash the stockings separately with a mild detergent without softeners (e.g. Ofa Clean special detergent) at a maximum of 40° C and rinse them well.
- The stockings can be gently spun, but please do not wring them out.
- Air dry your compression stockings or on the gentle cycle of your dryer, but do not place them on the heater or in direct sunlight, and do not iron them.
- In order to maintain the effectiveness of the stockings, please do not use chemical cleaning agents, bleach, petrol or fabric softeners.
- Compression stockings are largely insensitive to fats and oils, but should not come into contact with ointments.
- Stockings with silicone-coated top bands should generally not come into contact with solvents, ointments, moisturizing washing lotions and body creams. Otherwise their adhesion can be permanently impaired.
- Store the stockings in the original packaging, if possible, in a dry place and protected from the sun and heat.
