The CAREPUR delta cushion in the form of a prism is mainly used in the 30° lateral position. In the lateral position, the pillow is placed directly on the shoulder, back or pelvis regions to be supported. Due to the wide underside of the cushion and the non-slip properties of the cover, it ensures positional stability for the patient. Furthermore, when the patient is in a supine position, it is suitable for padding the knee bend - with simultaneous pressure redistribution in the area of the sacrum, for carrying out equinus prophylaxis when placed directly on the sole of the foot or for 135° positioning. In a seated position (e.g. in a wheelchair) it can also be used as a support for a hemiparetic arm. (when used while seated)
