BSN medical Cutimed Sorbion Sana

Cutimed® Sorbion® Sana is a super-absorbent, atraumatic wound dressing for the treatment of heavily to moderately exuding wounds. Due to the special three-dimensional structure of its cover, the contact surface with the wound bed is minimized. Cutimed® Sorbion® Sana is therefore particularly suitable for the treatment of wounds where the focus is on an atraumatic and painless dressing change, e.g. B. Wounds with an inconsistent healing process (epithelialisation islands/drier wound areas), in palliative care or in patients who are sensitive to pain.

The hydrokinetic fiber matrix with integrated, highly water-storing polymers (superabsorbers) creates a moist wound environment, absorbs wound exudate vertically and locks it securely in the product core. In this way, the risk of maceration can be reduced and the healing process optimally supported.

Cutimed® Sorbion® Sana consists of a super-absorbent core, which is surrounded by an ultrasonically sealed polypropylene fleece and, on the outside, by a three-dimensional wound contact layer made of polyethylene. The product is free from pharmacological active ingredients.
