Cutimed® Sorbion® Sorbact® combines the drug-free, bacteria-binding effect of Cutimed® Sorbact® with outstanding exudate management.
With Cutimed® Sorbion® Sorbact® infections are fought in a safe and efficient way, purely physically. Cutimed® Sorbion® Sorbact® binds germs according to the principle of hydrophobic interaction and does not release chemical antimicrobial substances. Each time the dressing is changed, the number of germs in the wound is reduced, creating optimal conditions for the healing process.
At the same time, the outstanding exudate management of Cutimed® Sorbion® Sorbact® ensures that high amounts of exudate are absorbed. The integrated super-absorbent dressing creates a moist wound environment, absorbs wound exudate and securely locks it in the product core. In this way, the risk of maceration can be reduced and the healing process optimally supported.
