Antimicrobial calcium alginate dressing

Suprasorb A + AG reduces the germ load directly in the wound bed and is therefore particularly suitable for infected or infectious wounds - even with infections with MRSA or VRE *. In addition to these properties, Suprasorb A + AG is also a soft, supple wound cover that adapts well to any wound base.
Especially with highly exuding wounds the high exudate uptake capacity of Suprasorb A + AG is shown. Upon contact with exudate, Suprasorb A + AG forms a gel. Bacteria and germs are absorbed in this gel, which in addition to a moist wound climate also leads to a cleansing of the wound. Overall, the high exudate absorption capacity promotes wound healing.

Dressing change interval

The intervals at which the Suprasorb A + Ag must be renewed are determined by the treating physician. Depending on the degree of exudation, the wound dressing may remain on the wound for up to 7 days.
