PU foam dressing

Suprasorb P absorbs wound exudate quickly and safely when the fine-pored PU foam is applied directly to the wound base. The material adapts to the wound base. The special surface finish of the wound contact layer of Suprasorb P - the all-rounder in wound care - is gentle on slightly vulnerable surfaces such as healing wounds. The semi-permeable PU carrier layer provides the ideal moist wound environment. Even after fluid intake of the dressing remains dimensionally stable. He is bacteria and waterproof *. Suprasorb P is easy to apply, soft and comfortable to wear. Suprasorb P is available in three versions: non-sticky, self-adhesive and sacrum. The self-adhesive version is additionally equipped with a skin-friendly adhesive edge.

Hints

Dressing change interval:

Will be determined by the treating physician, after 5-7 days, according to wound condition, degree of exudation and secondary dressing. Once the discoloration has reached the edge of the wound, the bandage should be changed.
Suprasorb P can be used as a secondary dressing in infectious wounds as part of regular antimicrobial therapy.
When dry, Suprasorb P can easily be cut to the individual wound size. The dressing should cover the wound edges by approx. Overlap 2 cm.

application Notes

Suprasorb P self-adhesive

Clean wound with sterile solution (eg Ringer's solution, physiological saline solution), then carefully dab wound environment with sterile compresses
Remove the protective film from the dressing
Place bandage in the middle of the wound. Suprasorb P should overlap the wound edge by 2-3 cm.
Press Suprasorb P PU foam dressing onto the adhesive edge. The self-adhesive bandage needs no further fixation even for wounds that are difficult to care for.

Suprasorb P non-self-adhesive

Clean the wound with sterile solution (eg Ringer's solution, physiological saline), then carefully dab dry the wound area with sterile compresses
Apply Suprasorb P PU foam dressing (2-3 cm above the edge of the wound) and fix, eg. For example, with Suprasorb F film wound dressing, with a fixation bandage (eg mollelast) or with a compression bandage (eg Rosidal K).
